Gutenberg: The Musical

Theatremakers proudly presented the 2016 Anywhere Festival's ONLY full-length musical. This riotously funny two-man show went up at The New Globe Theatre from the 16th to the 20th of May 2016.

"Fun, funny and extremely well-executed."

"Deliciously absurd silliness... fast-paced and sheer fun."

The endearingly earnest and hopelessly naive Bud and Doug have written a musical. However, their tragic and epic depiction of history's Johann Gutenberg is more of farcical flop than the moving tale of woe the duo think they have written. Gutenberg: The Musical has audience privy to the energetic antics of two of Broadway's most sincere wannabes, as they strut and fret the telling of their masterpiece on an empty stage, blissfully unaware of the mockery they have made.
